OK, I have added this and your previous patch (in e-mail "[PATCH] G450
CRTC2 support") and while things still seem to work on my G400, things
are no better than they were before with old frames being
re-displayed.  :-(  Not that I was expecting these patches to correct
it, but maybe I was hoping they would pin-point something wrong in my
local installation here.

Oh well.
