[directfb-users] Re: CyberPro 5005
Hi, i have compiled kernel 2.4.20 with cyberpro support static in the kernel and not as module. Here is my boot options append="video=cyber2000fb" If i make the fbset -i command, i can see this: mode "640x480-100" # D: 44.899 MHz, H: 52.947 kHz, V: 99.713 Hz geometry 640 480 640 480 8 timings 22272 48 32 17 22 128 12 accel true rgba 8/0,8/0,8/0,0/0 endmode Frame buffer device information: Name : CyberPro5000 Address : 0xfd000000 Size : 4194304 Type : PACKED PIXELS Visual : PSEUDOCOLOR XPanStep : 0 YPanStep : 1 YWrapStep : 0 LineLength : 640 MMIO Address: 0xfd800000 MMIO Size : 786432 > Accelerator : Unknown (35) Accelerator Unknown?? What does it mean? It is strange! DirectFB use this id and then it does not work because is Unknown ?? I still have not found the correct mode line but is near the 640x480-100 i think. Thanks in advance. * Sven Neumann <firstname.lastname@example.org> [170103, 18:35]: > Hi, > > Luca Micheletti <email@example.com> writes: > > > i have a set top box (fujitsu-siemens activy) with a CyberPro 5005 as > > video card. > > > > Is there a Directfb driver for it? > > yes, it's included in the main DirectFB tarball since version 0.9.14. > > > I have compiled the kernel-2.4.18 with support for cyberpro as > > module, but at boot time the monitor lose the synchronization. > > choosing the correct modeline for the activy is not trivial.
