I use my PC mainly to watch DVD, do you think quality of ATI card will be
better than Matrox one, like I could read all around ?

I would imagine you just stick the connector in and radeonfb takes care of
the rest. Be warned that the radeon DirectFB driver is quite limited so
you won't get nearly the same level of features as you got with the G400.
